What is the ISCAR ISCAR BioPsychoSocial Developmental Model? โ
The ISCAR ISCAR BioPsychoSocial Developmental Model is the theoretical and clinical approach underlying the ISCAR tests. It integrates biological, psychological and relational dimensions of the person for a comprehensive, integrative understanding of human functioning.
Developed from cutting-edge neuroscience research, this approach identifies 5 personality styles and 5 primary emotions linked to 5 neurohormonal circuits that develop from birth to adulthood.
- An integrative approach โ Body, psyche and relationship as inseparable dimensions of human functioning.
- Styles, not categories โ Personality styles describe dynamic patterns, not rigid typologies.
- A rigorous clinical tool โ ISCAR tests are psychometrically validated and differentiated by audience and practice level.
- Mandatory prior training โ One training, common to all. Results vary by profile: Personality Styles for all, Mental Health in addition for clinicians.
